Wedmore Street Fair returns with help from the Harvest Home team

A POPULAR street fair returned to Wedmore at the weekend, bringing ‘a day of fun, entertainment and plenty of stalls to browse’.

Ahead of the event, a spokesperson said, “Following the success of our summer fair last year, we decided to pool our resources with the Harvest Home team to continue the tradition of the village street fair.

The Harvest Home team is responsible for organizing a day of entertainment and a procession to celebrate the harvest, which takes place in August.

They added: “We will bring a day of fun, entertainment and plenty of stalls to browse.”

Merchants included Hector’s Farm Shop, Belle Isle Botanicals, Mack Vintage, The Crêpe Cart, Sally’s Frocks and Besley’s Strawberries.

There was also a Pimm’s Bar, ice cream, raffle and games.
