Over 450 people enjoyed a delicious lunch and entertainment at East Brent Harvest Home.
It was the 160th harvest house in the parish and there was a parade along Bridgwater Road to the marquee.
The men carried an 80 to 100 pound block of cheese, specially made by the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, and a 6 foot loaf of bread created by Maisey’s Bakery in Highbridge.
Dozens of Christmas puddings were also served by the army of 60 event volunteers.
Colin Loader, Chairman of the Harvest Welcome Committee, said: âIt was a beautiful sunny day. I think everyone had a great time – we had a wonderful lunch.
